Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

   The Chiefs look lost on offense with no running game other than a scrambling Patrick Mahomes and their mission of hitting deep passes has one glaring problem.  It's something Mahomes is not good at.  Like, really not good at.  He chucks it flat and deep almost every time and the Chiefs just aren't good enough right now to cover up mistakes by Mahomes and HOF tight end Travis Kelce.
   It gets even uglier, Kelce bolted without talking to the media after his fumble cost the Chiefs this game and his fiance now has a crap show going on as she's apparently walking around Arrowhead with a rolling wall to block her from all us regular people.  Oh, we are seeing things we haven't seen before and its no fun at all.
   Stan Weber helps us break down all the problems and then we get into Mizzou's perfect start and a K-State team inf free fall.  

   President Trump announces on live tv Friday morning the suspected shooter in the murder of Charlie Kirk is in custody and was turned in by a Christian Minister who had a friend in law enforcement.  There are not any further details but the stories of how they identified him and the touching stories of support are everywhere.
   The Chiefs and Eagles are set for a Super Bowl rematch and Xavier Worthy is back on the practice field.  I have a most unusual prediction for this one.
   The long time stadium announcer has quit his job with the Chiefs at Arrowhead because he says the Chiefs "crossed my red line."  Uh oh.
   The Royals are all but eliminated after blowing one in Cleveland.  And Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com is here with our point spread picks.

   I woke up this morning hoping to feel something different than what I felt yesterday watching the horrific video of Charlie Kirk being murdered in cold blood for speaking his beliefs in public.   Instead, we are feeling a resolve in our profound sadness that this happens in America.
   As we record this podcast, the killer is still at large, far left crazies are getting fired right and left for celebrating the killing and Dem politicians are spewing lies that they condemn this violence.  
   You can't call a man a Nazi, a threat to democracy, a hate filled racist and a white nationalist and not expect an unhinged member of your base to take action.  This may or may not have been a part of their playbook as there's plenty of countries that are Trump enemies that could have done this, too.  But it sure feels like Democrats are happy Charlie Kirk is dead.  What a horrible day for our nation.

   Turning Point USA's founder Charlie Kirk was 20 minutes in to one of his campus tour speaking events at Utah Valley State University when he was shot by a high powered rifle, in the neck, from 200 yards away.
   Utah authorities have a man in custody.
   Kirk was shot after being asked a question about gun violence and blood poured from his neck.  There's horrific video everywhere.  This is the worst thing you've ever seen.
   I share my reaction to what we know, what I've seen and the pathetic reaction from leftists and left wing media.  This feels like an urgent time to save America from caving to the violence and intimidation of the left.

   The new Congressional map for Missouri flies through the state House and is on its way to the Senate.  The goal is to flip a Dem district in the KC area red but there are no guarantees.  Let's hope they got this thing right.
   Two NFL teams, for most Kansas Citians coming out of nowhere, have announced their newer facilities than Arrowhead are being replaced by brand new multi billion dollar parks with all kinds of development around them.  Nobody is remodeling anymore.
   DC is safe and Trump is dining out with JD Vance and Marco Rubio but it sure doesn't look safe to me.
  Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter spit in the face of Dak Prescott in their first game and gets a one game suspension.  You won't believe why the game he will miss is NOT Sunday at Arrowhead.
   The Royals are in huge trouble to make the playoffs with just 17 games to go.  World Cup tickets are on sale today and we have a preview of the drink menu at 1587.
 

   Rupert Murdoch has finally settled his succession plan for Fox News and other properties as it will be in control of his conservative son Lachlan.  This was one crazy, bitter family feud.
   Kansas AG Kris Kobach is suing the Kelly administration for withholding information from the federal government.  You have to love this one.
   The DEA announces a massive 5 day sweep by 23 field offices working together to bring down a Mexican drug cartel.
   The Chiefs present what sound like could be good news about receiver Xavier Worthy's shoulder but it's really hard to tell if it's just hope.  Meanwhile, the quarterback's upscale steakhouse is, indeed, going to serve ketchup on steaks.  I"m still in shock from this news I jokingly predicted.
  The Royals season could finally be coming apart as they get boat raced Monday in Cleveland.  This is a rough week ahead.

   It's a great week to be a Missouri Tigers fan as they rely on a couple of rock solid fundamentals to stop the Kansas Jayhawks to win the Border War revisited.  The best team won but boy, oh boy, did KU have a shot in this one.
   The Chiefs find themselves all alone in last place as the week begins.  Yes, the division we promise will be the toughest ever proved true as the Raiders and Broncos both won, too.  We also update the injury status of Xavier Worthy.
   The Royals can't get the sweep against the Twins and fall another game back in the Wildcard race.
   Trump is taking Chicago with ICE but is adamant he's not at war with the city itself.  Scott Bessent sets the host of Meet the Press straight.
   It was quite a final act by the Chinook Helicopters and their pilots the the Army Reserve in KC this weekend.  Rich Eisen takes a shot at Harrison Butker and a legendary, grammy award winning rock star has died at 81.

   It feels like we shorted you some news this week as we got sorta sports heavy so we will just dial up a weekend episode of KKHI.  
   First, I couldn't be more disappointed in what we saw out of the Chiefs in the opener against the Chargers.  There is much work to do or this is going to be a long season.
   Then, we discuss the greatest troll yet for the Trump administration.  They are talking about classifying transgenderism as mental illness therefore making it illegal for a trans human to buy a gun.  This is serious, sure.  But its also outrageously hilarious for the position dems are in complaining about it.  Enjoy and have a great weekend.
