   We are going to follow the facts about the former Kansas City resident that decided to leave her children behind Wednesday in Minneapolis, and at the very least, risk being arrested by ICE.  By all accounts, Renee Good was committing multiple crimes to defend Somali criminals when she hit the gas pedal with an agent right in front of her.  Bad decisions lead to bad outcomes.
   Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is in hot water again as his former girlfriend posts photos a writes an essay about years of abuse she took from him.  Is this the end for Rice in KC?
   Salvador Perez is the captain of Team Venezuela in the upcoming World Baseball Classic and was in his home country when Maduro was extracted.  Why haven't we heard from Salvy on this?
   The Missouri Tigers have turned their season around starting 2-0 in SEC hoops.  The Tigers got their first win ever at Kentucky and they did it by closing strong and showing something we weren't sure they had.
   NFL tv ratings smash records as the Chiefs lead CBS to being the top rated network.  Clay County officials are no longer talking with the Royals and billionaires are fleeing California for good.

   Not everything is perfect in the Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift world as a charity watchdog has identified Kelce's 87 and Running as a fiscal hot mess.  Get this, only 41% of the money the charity raises goes to actual programs.  The rest, apparently, goes to Kelce's buddies that run the thing.  Uh oh.  Here's the good news, Kelce is exactly the kind of guy that would have no idea this is happening, but I'll bet his fiance cleans up his affairs quickly.
   KU had a comeback for the ages  beating TCU at Allen Field House Tuesday night.  This is exactly what Bill Self does, even when it feels like it was the other team that blew it.
   It's time to celebrate as the Corporation for Public Broadcasting dissolves after a vote of the board.  This has been a taxpayer nightmare since 1967 and now PBS and NPR will have to stand on their own legs.
   Trump's getting 50 million barrels of oil from Venezuela and is ordering them to stop drilling until they meet ALL of his terms.  And, he's eying a deal with Greenland now.   He really is making America great, this is just incredible.
   Ravens coach John Harbaugh is sacked after 18 years but they fired the wrong guy.  I'll prove it to you.   Sporting KC has a new head coach, the A's can't get the trademark in Las Vegas and the media has a new story to try to take your eyes and ears off all the winning right now.

   CNN has finally lifted its ban on allowing Stephen Miller on to talk about the Trump administration but they may be rethinking it.  Miller was in the war room for the Maduro extraction and is obviously the guy who really has Trump's ear.  Wait until you hear how it went with Jake Tapper.
   JD Vance had his home attacked by a rock throwing, hammer swinging psycho named William.   He goes by another name but it's not Bill. 
   Trump has lowered the vax schedule for American kids from 72 to 11.  Great progress.  Hilton hotels has a Bud Light problem on its hands.
   In sports, Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuola is getting some interest to be a head coach.  Bill Self has some younger KU fans crawling all up in his kitchen right now over the Darryn Peterson situation.  Texas Tech's new quarterback has a billionaire paying him more in one year than Shadeur Sanders will make with the Cleveland Browns in 4 years.
   The FCS title game was old school college fun and our Final Final is the end of the monkey business in Prairie Village.

   I still get goosebumps thinking about the amazing military operation the USA conducted in Venezuela to extract narco drug lord Nicolas Maduro.  It may take months before we know just how great it was but with 150 planes in the sky and plenty of boots on the ground, it was close to perfect.   The world is amazed... and they should be.
  Venezuelans cheer the news while hard left pols in America that used to call for Maduro to be taken out now say it's illegal because it's Trump.  They really love any country but ours.
   The Chiefs season ends rolling craps in Vegas but they have a high draft pick and an excellent off season set up to completely remake this team.
   Royals manager Matt Quatraro gets a contract extension, KU can't shake its Peterson problem and Mizzou beats the Florida Gators, again.
   Our Final Final is a Guinness Record at a world famous beach.

   The Royals suddenly have everyone in Missouri clamoring to keep them from crossing the state line and real estate executive Stan Weber has a perfect location downtown and a suggestion for the Royals on how to make it happen.  This is good stuff.
   Then, we talk about Andy Reid's future as the HOF coach says he's coming back.  The question is, has his window closed?
   There's some tasty matchups Saturday and Sunday in the NFL that have Super Bowl implications.
   Where exactly is Mizzou football after their season fell apart?  We preview the college playoff games and the world's strongest beer is illegal in Missouri and a host of other states.

   Also, if the Royals have a "complex" situation according to Senate president Ty Masterson but have met the December 31 STAR bond deadline, what is going on?  There's only two things it could be.

   KC's major league sports teams moving to Kansas has always been inevitable.  It's not just that the STAR bond money is too good to pass up, in the case of the Chiefs, they had no option to build new with an entertainment development anywhere in Missouri.  The team is fibbing.  This wasn't close, it wasn't decided last week and was more like a 48-3 football beatdown.  No Missourians should rejoice they aren't on the hook for it all and can look forward to lower income taxes.  Seems like a win/win to me.
   The winner in all this, of course, is Clark Hunt.  His team is really, really good at football.  But his business is next level American Capitalism elite.
   Mizzou hoops may be in big trouble this year after a disaster against Illinois.  Bill Self says Darryn Peterson's family is now involved in deciding whether he will play or not.  Oh, boy. 
   Trump bounce back in polling in a big way.  He announces a new golden fleet of Trump Ships and my childhood root beer stand could be returning to KC in a meaningful way.
