KKHI Exclusive: On Stage with Will Sharf as Trump Assassination Attempt Happens

   It's a night I will never forget as Master of Ceremonies at the Clay County Republicans Lincoln-Reagan-Trump Day Dinner at Harrah's casino's ballroom in North Kansas City.

    White House Assistant to the President and Staff Secretary Will Scharf was the guest speaker and after he gave a wonderful speech about his new found fame introducing all the executive orders and handing them to the President in the Oval Office, I sat down with him on stage for a  question and answer session.  It would be a mix of serious and fun questions... until his phone went off like a fire alarm.  The whole room could hear it and we all thought it was President Trump calling in to say hello to the crowd.  It was not.  It was just a moment after the assassination attempt in DC Saturday night and the next ten minutes would be simply remarkable for everyone in attendance.  Especially Will Scharf.  I have it all on tape and will play it for you.
