After nine years of battering Donald Trump with impeachments, arrests, conviction, fines and the most vile political rhetoric of our lifetime, it's a logical conclusion that dirty politics led to an assassination attempt on the 45th president.
But it is no time to be political. Perhaps the only person that seems to instinctively know this is Trump himself who credits the Secret Service, praises God and goes about his normal schedule like nothing happened. That's right, it's time for politicians to shut up. Americans instinctively know that Trump is a great leader, a great man and continuing to work for something and risk something nobody else is tough enough to do.

Sir, I like Trump as much as the next conservative - voted for him twice - but let’s not deify him. He’s not God, he’s not the second coming of Christ, and we really can’t say he’s doing this for his love of America, as opposed to his own selfish ambition. I’d say the evidence points to him doing a lot of what he does policy-wise as pro America ideals, but for the first 65 years of his life he lived for himself, so there’s really no way to know what he’s thinking about why he does what he does.

I think they may be a touch ”Darn he didn’t die,” from the left. But I think that even hardcore Democrats and far leftists realize that there’d be violence from hardcore conservatives if Trump had been killed. It’d be darn near all-out war, and even they realize it wouldn’t be a good thing.
