One Target for Midterm Campaign, Ch. 9 Meteorologist Stands Strong, Lake America, CNN Botches Dolly Coverage, Mahomes Keeps us Guessing, KU Names Starter, Golf Controversy is Stupid

   There really is only one target, one campaign slogan, one repeatable line for every Republican running and it's just sitting there for the taking.  If this party can find a way to change the narrative away from Trump and onto this, they could win.

   A local meteorologist is bullied relentlessly online for being.... pregnant.  She fights back in a big way and we are all for her.

   Trump misses the mark in his selection for a new name for Lake Ontario.  CNN gets it all wrong with images of a Dolly Parton impersonator while covering the iconic singer's death.

   In Sports, national media seem to think Mahomes may not play in the opener.  KU names a starting quarterback and it's a bit of a surprise.  KSU is ready to speed up their play calling and offensive pace this year.  And a golf controversy about a company that made an unfunny  commercial is the dumbest cancellation in years.
