The Day a Presidency Died, Cleaver’s Covid is OK, Chiefs Lineman’s Souvenir
Thursday Jan 20, 2022
Thursday Jan 20, 2022
Everyone agrees Joe Biden's news conference was a disaster, and it may have started a conflict in Ukraine that costs people their life.  This is more than serious, this is an emergency.  January 19, 2022 is the day the Biden Presidency died... what happens next is crucial in this crazy world.
Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema save the Senate on the same historic day and may have saved America at the same time Biden was bumbling his way through his news conference.  Yes, January 19 was a great day for this country.
Congressman Emanuel Cleaver has Covid but its ok because it's a "breakthrough" case.  I mean, it's so different when a good person gets covid versus some evil insurrectionist.
And Chiefs lineman Nick Allegretti has a very special souvenir sitting in a very special place this week.  I love this story.

Saban Loses Again, 4th Shot is Dud, Mahomes Smashing Records, Mark Smith Taunts Texas
Wednesday Jan 19, 2022
Wednesday Jan 19, 2022
Fresh off his loss in the national title game, Alabama coach Nick Saban loses again as he signs a letter in support of something called the "freedom to vote" act.  This has a million holes in it including Saban wanting elections to be as good as referees.  What?  You have to hear this complete story.
Officials in Israel and South Africa say the 4th shot is of no use to anyone.  Don't believe them?  Follow the hedge fund guys as Moderna and Biontech stocks are getting crushed.
Patrick Mahomes has 22 td passes in the playoffs and he's just 26 years old.  Wait until you hear the list of Hall of Fame quarterbacks that already beats.
And a rare night as KU, KSU and MU all win in hoops.  Former Tiger turned Wildcat Mark Smith grabs headlines at Texas for doing the Horns Down sign... we'll tell you why he says it's just payback.

GOP Surges, NBA Owner Steps in It, Chocolate Cake for Andy, KU Leads Big 12
Tuesday Jan 18, 2022
Tuesday Jan 18, 2022
A new Gallup poll shows the GOP surging in America with its highest rating in 30 years.... a full 14 point swing in just one year of Biden Rule.  You're going to get a bounce in your step over all this good news.
A part owner of the Golden State Warriors has really stepped in it by saying he doesn't care about minorities in China that are treated as slaves.  This is the NBA... the social justice beacon in America.  This man has created a real problem.
We know Andy Reid likes cheeseburgers and M&M's, now we know the Super Bowl is just like chocolate cake. You want to hear this.
And defending champs Baylor have lost a couple games and KU has taken over first place in the Big 12.  Their arrow is pointing up heading into a game at Oklahoma.

Football Feast: Mahomes Melts Steelers, Cowboys Controversy, Bills Up Next
Monday Jan 17, 2022
Monday Jan 17, 2022
After another slow start in a playoff game, Patrick Mahomes tossed FIVE touchdown passes in 10:31 of clock time.  Amazing, really.  The Steelers didn't belong in the playoffs but every team remaining does, and it's about to get harder.
In Dallas, of course the Cowboys season ended in controversy.  This was so predictable.
And Stan Weber gives us a great scouting report on the Chiefs vs Bills... it's the fourth game between the two in 14 months.  Here we go... It's a football feast!

I feel like we've said about a dozen times that Joe Biden just had his worst week ever... but this has to take the cake.  The biggest blow, the Supreme Court ruling Biden's ridiculous get a jab or get fired mandate for private businesses is unconstitutional.  This is glorious.
The GOP is feeling wind in its sails all over the place.  We have four big movements this week that only happen when the public is with you.  The latest... Senator Roger Marshall introducing the "Fauci Act" for full disclosure from high paid federal employees.  You want to hear about this.
The computer says the Chiefs have a 76% chance of beating Pittsburgh Sunday night and that sounds really low to me.  I'll name 6 non-playoff AFC teams I'm glad are NOT coming to KC.... I'll take the Steelers any day.
And Georgia QB Stetson Bennett is cashing in on his national title and mvp award and he should be.  He had a new job Thursday and UGA fans gobbled it up.

Big Ben Jokes About Sunday’s Game, Wildcard Weekend Picks
Thursday Jan 13, 2022
Thursday Jan 13, 2022
Does it get your attention that Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is making jokes to the media that the Steelers have no chance at winning Sunday in KC?  It got mine.  But I'm still bullish on the Chiefs, I just want to know what Ben thinks he knows.
And Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com is back for his wildcard weekend picks and a special treat for basketball fans.

This episode is loaded with goodies as the Dems try to permanently change the way we vote in order for them to get one party control of America.  It's called the "Freedom to Vote" act and it's name is over the top even for liberals.
Senator Tom Cotton proved how absurd all this is as the Dems want to change the filibuster in the Senate to pass it... Cotton gave a speech on the floor of the Senate that was written by Chuck Schumer years  ago.  Classic.
Bill Gates seems to be some sort of authority on Covid and after two years of being wrong, he's joining common sense Americans now in saying we should start treating this thing like the seasonal flu.  Thank you.
Joe Biden's poll numbers hit an even lower low, Mitch McConnel calls him "profoundly unpresidential" and what the heck is up with Prince Andrew's teeth.  It's all good fun.

Weber Family’s Wild Ride
Wednesday Jan 12, 2022
Wednesday Jan 12, 2022
You know Stan Weber as a football analyst here at KKHI but you probably didn't know his family has had their routine turned upside down the past two weeks.  Son Landry, a wide receiver at KSU, suffered a really ugly looking injury in their bowl win over LSU.  Then word got out that Landry has plans to become a Catholic Priest.
What's happened since then has been truly wild and Stan opens up and shares his personal story.
That said, we are talking about Stan Weber so he's more than happy to wrap up the college football season for us and preview this wildcard weekend in the NFL.

Smug Dr. Fauci got questioned again on Capitol Hill by Senators Rand Paul of Kentucky and Dr. Roger Marshall from Kansas and it was glorious.  All you need to know is when Marshall finished his questioning, Fauci said "what a moron, Jesus Christ" when he thought his mic was off.
According to a professor at DePauw University, there is plenty of evidence now that CNN and other media outlets are dropping their doom and gloom reporting on covid and switching to a narrative a little more in touch with almost all Americans who are just living with the virus.
The Chiefs have some key personnel being interview for new positions with other teams and that's ok.  I'm rooting for Eric Bieniemy to be the next head coach of the Vikings.
And KU eeked out a one point win over Iowa State Tuesday night in a thriller as former Coach Roy Williams grabbed the headlines.  It was Roy's first game at AFH since 2003.

Spencer Kietzman hosts, Kevin calls in from Indianapolis following Georgia's National title win over Alabama, where the better QB made mistakes, allowing UGA's defense to lead the way to their first National Title since 1980. The Chiefs are a 12.5 point favorite over the Steelers in a game which should be an easy playoff win at Arrowhead.
