Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

   There's a lot to unpack from the Chiefs loss to the Bengals but it's much bigger than a scheme or a play.  The officials took control of the this game, period.  And in the final moments, they decided to take all the fun out of a great game and fans were left feeling ripped off.  Forget who won and lost... the end of the Chiefs game... and the Dallas game in the NFC, left everyone asking why the league can't do better.
   Stan Weber joins us to talk about all the big plays, the new playoff scenario and previews the Kansas State-LSU Texas Bowl game his is calling Tuesday night.

   Most of us don't see the Bengals play very often so here's everything you need to know about a very real opponent for the Chiefs this week.  There's only one advantage the Chiefs have, I'll tell you what it is.
   The Missouri women's basketball team only had 8 players available against #1 South Carolina and then proceeded to go where no other Mizzou team has gone before.  In dramatic fashion.
   CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd lives in Overland Park and I consider him a friend as I've known him for 30 years.  He's been on KKHI.  But he's got a coach really upset with him after a post game celebration involved the coach getting a bucket of mayonnaise dumped on his head.  You have to hear this.
   And the CDC admits now that positive test results can be irrelevant as they can show up three months after you had covid.  This comes out the same day Fauci says our kids in hospital with covid stats are completely misleading.  Welcome to the team, folks. 

   It's so obvious when Dems sink their teeth into a new term or battle cry and they have one for the upcoming 2022 mid terms.  Their new play in the book for the new year is downright comical and a desperate attempt to reverse brutally bad polls. 
   Frontier Justice is accused of being racist in a lawsuit filed by a woman who says she was profiled for being Muslim.  This sounds like a total reach, we have the details.
   KU Guard Remy Martin is the toast of the New Year as Bill Self has done a 180 and is now praising his star guard, just in time for Big 12 play.  Pretty sure we could see this coming.
   And the Chiefs test out Covid free across the board as one injured starter returns to practice as another remains sidelined leading up to a HUGE game against the Bengals.

   There's a top 25 list of Joe Biden's worst moments of 2021 that is just astounding, we share a few of them and remember what a mess he's made.
   The Chiefs lose an assistant coach to a college job but the news isn't all bad.  The Bengals backup QB is positive for Covid and now all eye are on Joe Burrow's test results.
   Aaron Rodgers has done it again by saying something so simple yet so profound that he would  have made John Madden proud.   The NFL has lost a true icon.... Madden was truly Mr. NFL.
   The SEC is just getting humiliated this bowl season and it's mostly by Big 12 and future Big 12 schools.  There's only one team that can save the SEC now and it's not Alabama.
   And we have some fun entertainment news about Morgan Wallen, Rob Schneider and astronaut Sian Proctor.

   College basketball doesn't look like a serious sport right now.  KU has had three straight opponents cancel on them, the latest because of "injuries and Covid concerns."  What?  Injuries?  The Big 12 blew it when it changed the rules of what happens when you say you can't play and it's hurting KU more than anyone.
   An official for USA Swimming has resigned in protest of Lia Thomas competing for Penn as a female.  You have to hear what Cynthia Millen has to say about this scandal.
   Patrick Mahomes gives a signed jersey to a little kid in Dallas for Christmas.  But that's just the start of this funny story.
   Mississippi State coach Mike Leach continues to blow up his former employers at Texas Tech prior to tonight's Liberty Bowl where Leach faces Tech.  This is classic Pirate.
   And it's a very slow news week but it doesn't keep Ran Paul from lighting up Tony Fauci... this just gets better and better.

   The Chiefs are playing their best football ever with complete domination on both sides of the ball and another AFC West Title in their pocket.  But that's not enough as the goal is a Super Bowl or bust.  Stan Weber joins us to talk about the Chiefs and the playoff picture.

   And an alarming number of vaxxed soccer players are dying of heart attacks.  Is it coincidence or a real problem?
 

   I don't believe in moral victories but I was proud of a Mizzou team I didn't recognize for almost winning their bowl game against Army.  MU had more players out than the Cleveland Browns and it wasn't because of covid.  Bowl games are really strange now.
   A couple dems that want to defund the police are carjacked in Philly and Chicago within 24 hours.  We don't wish this on anyone, but its newsworthy it happened to a pair of dems that want fewer cops.
   And Santa is here today handing out gifts to Patrick Mahomes, Dayton Moore, Joe Biden and even Mayor Q.  We'll have some fun with this Christmas list.

   NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and KU coach Bill Self essentially said out loud what most Americans have been thinking.  Covid fear is over and it's time to move on.  As the White House peddles panic, sports leaders are speaking out that this thing is over.
   The NFL could do the Chiefs, 31 other teams and fans everywhere a favor by letting players play if they are not sick.  Period.  They've already made some changes, will they make the one that matters most?
  It's time to hold Senator Liz Warren accountable for slamming a high profile African American for not paying enough taxes, this should be an outrage.
   And in 36 years of covering sports in the Midwest, I've never seen a team head to a bowl game with as big of a shakeup as the Missouri Tigers as they prepare to play Army in the Armed Forces Bowl.

   It's Christmas week and all Joe Biden wants to do is scare Americans talking about the weakest virus yet.  Even Kamala Harris things Biden and his team are tone deaf and is not on board with their messaging.
   Bill O'Reilly says Donald Trump is running for President in 2024 and he should know.  He's been on tour speaking with his friend, the former prez, and says he will run on his excellent record.
   The Chiefs add Travis Kelce and two others to their growing Covid list.  Who knows how it plays out by Sunday.
   And as the Jayhawks get ready for Colorado, Ochai Agbaji is the leading candidate for national player of the year. 

   America won big this weekend and Senator Joe Manchin announced there is just no way he can support Joe Biden's bloated spending spree when we already have out of control inflation.  Thanks, Senator.  Too bad those in your party are cursing you.
   The AFC playoff picture just got really rosy for the Chiefs as the Patriots and Titans both lose.  Stan Weber is here to to break it all down.
