College basketball doesn't look like a serious sport right now. KU has had three straight opponents cancel on them, the latest because of "injuries and Covid concerns." What? Injuries? The Big 12 blew it when it changed the rules of what happens when you say you can't play and it's hurting KU more than anyone.

I don't believe in moral victories but I was proud of a Mizzou team I didn't recognize for almost winning their bowl game against Army. MU had more players out than the Cleveland Browns and it wasn't because of covid. Bowl games are really strange now.
A couple dems that want to defund the police are carjacked in Philly and Chicago within 24 hours. We don't wish this on anyone, but its newsworthy it happened to a pair of dems that want fewer cops.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and KU coach Bill Self essentially said out loud what most Americans have been thinking. Covid fear is over and it's time to move on. As the White House peddles panic, sports leaders are speaking out that this thing is over.
The NFL could do the Chiefs, 31 other teams and fans everywhere a favor by letting players play if they are not sick. Period. They've already made some changes, will they make the one that matters most?
It's time to hold Senator Liz Warren accountable for slamming a high profile African American for not paying enough taxes, this should be an outrage.
And in 36 years of covering sports in the Midwest, I've never seen a team head to a bowl game with as big of a shakeup as the Missouri Tigers as they prepare to play Army in the Armed Forces Bowl.
