Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
A listener has tipped me off that the new KCI is going to be the "most inclusive airport in the world" according to developers. That means giant 'all gender' restrooms are going to be featured prominently, where ladies can sit right next to drunk uncle Frank doing his business. Such progress.
Joe Biden has a high stakes conference call with Vladimir Putin Tuesday, so we ask the obvious question. Who's handling that call for the United States?

You'll have to excuse me if I'm getting a little too excited about the Chiefs but I'm just thrilled to see them playing elite defense. Sure, we can pick at some scabs this team has, but if they play defense like this, who's going to beat them?
Unfortunately, Stan Weber is not on today's podcast and I explain why. And I'm really sorry.
Kansas State and Mizzou have their bowl assignments, Brent Venables is the new coach at OU and the College Football Playoff is set.
Joe Biden is coming to KC. Oh, goodie.
And one of the greatest people I ever met is going into the Hall of Fame... the legendary and wonderful Buck O'Neil.

If you could stand to watch our ill president fumble through a teleprompter speech on Friday, you were left wondering how in the world is he still on the job.
A national Democrat committee has tweeted out thanks to the president because the price of gas dropped from $3.40 to $3.38. That is not a joke.
The Chiefs are wearing masks at work again and the NFL has suspended a player for three games for lying about getting the shot. But players with multiple off season arrests just keep suiting up.
And an NBA team set a record for largest margin of victory ever. A whopping 152-79 beatdown.

All polling shows that America misses Donald Trump very much and it's easy to understand why. Yes, Biden is failing, but it's even simpler than that and many American's don't even know this is the reason why. I'll explain.
Alec Baldwin breaks down in an interview with ABC News. Now we get to decide if we think he's just acting.
Chris Cuomo says he's "embarrassed" by his suspension and journalism scandal at CNN. But he's pushing forward and not talking about it any more.
MLB owners have locked out the players, we'll give you the simple reason why and how quickly this could be resolved. Norman, Oklahoma is melting down in Lincoln Riley's wake. And Lebron James tweets out that he may be a vax skeptic now. Uh oh.

A huge Supreme Court case regarding laws on Abortion in Mississippi is about to dominate headlines but what's really on trial is whether the federal government should be in charge of all our lives or if states should have more rights for its people.
Dr. Oz is rich, famous and a heart surgeon. He's also from a family of grateful legal immigrants and he says the government has tried to kill our spirit and dignity through Covid. He's right... and now he's running for Senate.
The College Football Playoff is shaping up to be four teams not named Ohio State, Clemson or Alabama and that makes this really fun.
The Chiefs activate veteran lineman Kyle Long and it's more than a roster move. It signals the Chiefs are flipping a switch as the calendar switches to December.

The Final Variant, Courts Pummel Biden, Coach Gets Private Jet, New CFB King
Tuesday Nov 30, 2021
Tuesday Nov 30, 2021
It's a simple slogan that's probably meant to be snarky, but when I saw a post from a reader of a story that simply said, "The final variant is Communism," it really stood out to me. Today, we compare what Dems want to do with government through the lens of what they've done with a virus.
Another week, another judge hammering away at Joe Biden's illegal mandates. Ten states, including Missouri and Kansas, won't be losing healthcare workers to Biden's rule. He loses these things at every turn.
New USC coach Lincoln Riley is getting $110 million at his new gig, but it's the bonuses and perks that will make you shake your head. It would take a lot of nerve to ask for the things he got... but he did it.
And there's a new king of college football on television... and it isn't close. SEC on CBS? Nope. ESPN, right? Nah. Fox Sports is the new king of the sport with it's Big 12/Big Ten combo.

K-State and Mizzou lose their regular season closers, as they await their bowl game matchups, it's time to ask the question as to what K-State's future looks like at QB in the post Skylar Thompson era. Also, MU has some key players returning next year, do they scare anyone in the SEC east?
The Titans play at New England, The Chargers play at Denver, the Browns play at the Ravens, plus Indianapolis has their biggest test thus far as they host Brady and the Bucs, all while the Chiefs are on a bye week. Seems like this Sunday we may get some clarity on who the pretenders and contenders are in the AFC.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and if you're like us, you're mixing in plenty of sports the next few days. Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com has his Turkey Shootout for us this weekend.
Also, we remember the fiercely quiet competitor Wade Davis. Davis has hung up the cleats but will always be remembered for transitioning from starter to closer and winning a trophy with the Royals.
And the Kansas Jayhawks open play in a basketball tournament at Disneyworld... it's a tourney they are heavily favored to win.
