   A local story has gone national and maybe global and it's about KC.  It seems we are some sort of huge federal government hub and didn't know it.  Worse yet, DOGE is apparently destroying our city.  Only one problem, the facts don't back any of this up yet.  Still, people in other places will believe we are getting crushed.  You have to hear this.

   The Royals take 3 out of 4 from the Twins, even as the bats are struggling, and now hit the road for ten days in really bad weather.  This is going to be a slog.

   Donald Trump actually did shock the world with his announcement he's working with 75 friendly countries to not only improve America's trade situation with them, he's partnering with them to take down China's practices of ripping everyone off.  It felt like a glorious and historic day.
   Meanwhile, the Dems are accusing Trump of manipulating the stock market while rooting for the Chinese to beat him.  They'd much rather Trump lose than America win.

   In sports, the Royals bats are quiet again in a  lifeless loss to the Twins.  A future KU basketball star is ranked the number one player in the country.  The commissioners of the four power conferences in college athletics are sitting down for a joint interview on fixing the business side of the NCAA.  And Billy Joel donates to a political campaign but it's not like a lot of the stories you've heard before.
 

   The Royals have won three in a  row and it gives us a chance to move a trade war with China to the second half of the podcast.  We need all the good news Bobby Witt is delivering to brighten our day.  KC has a chance to bury the Twins the next two days.
    The annual Masters Champions Dinner featured a guest that some believe is controversial.  Also, the tournament features its first set of twins competing.
   Vegas odds say its a huge longshot for Stephen A. Smith to run for president.  
   The trade war with China is getting worse as both countries raise tariffs overnight.
   A soccer coach of a 13 year old boy's team has been charged with murder.  He's an illegal alien and he's been arrested before and they've just let him walk until now.  Unreal.
