As he drove across the bridge toward the Pentagon and saw it was on fire, four star General Richard Myers pinched his cheek.  Hard.  He thought he was dreaming but he wasn't.  He was about to become the acting chairman of the Joint Chiefs on September 11, 2001.  The man knows crisis, so you'll have to excuse the President at Kansas State  if he doesn't think 20 year old men playing college football is all that dangerous. 

Kansas State President, 4 star general and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Richard Myers has dealt with plenty of crisis.  It doesn't seem like college football is in crisis to him as he tells me in an upcoming full podcast football players are better off than the student body when it comes to Covid and the ten presidents and chancellors in Big 12 all agreed to go play after debating it.  I asked President Myers what he would say to a Big 10 Chancellor that voted "no" if they called and asked why he voted yes.

If it seem sports aren't as important to you the past 6 months, the Chiefs are about to change that.  Also, Dr. Fauci wants college students with Covid to stay on campus because he knows they won't get sick.  But media makes it sound like college campuses are overwhelmed with problems.  When will it stop? And one lady with cancer just wants to play bingo... but they won't let her in.  What a shame.

The Chiefs are a green light to start of season, Brad Keller is amazing, KC Star misses big story and I share an emotional moment with my wife Jessica about the wonderful people of MAWD Pathology and the life saving work they are doing in Kansas City.
