Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

Bill Self now admits he simply can't recruit like he used to because of the NCAA's investigation into the program for allegedly paying for players.  We have the audio from a very candid interview where Self says recruiting hasn't been the same since 2018.  As they get ready to play K-State, we analyze the mess Bruce Weber has made.  And it doesn't get better from there as Mizzou fans are miffed how the Tigers blew a game against Georgia.  Also, a really embarrassing town hall with Joe Biden on CNN and Donald Trump punches back and Mitch McConnell so hard it's cringeworthy.

Best news ever, little 5 year old Ariel is awake.  There's no prognosis yet, but this is just great.   Have you had a rolling blackout yet?  Seems to me these are avoidable if we just stick to stuff we know.  A local writer is calling for the NCAA Tourney committee to go away... it's a pretty good plan.  And a national writer says the Royals are team to watch because of their young pitching. 

We haven't paid much attention to the impeachment trial, and it's a good thing for the Dems because they got smoked.  They called this a trial with no Chief Justice present, no sitting president and no witnesses called.  You gotta hear why they didn't call any witnesses, what a disaster for them.  Meanwhile, President Biden was taking vacation at Camp David with nothing on his schedule but video games with grandkids.  Really?  The Daytona 500 ends with a huge crash and flames everywhere.  Exciting, I guess, but should you be allowed to win like this? And the NCAA did a teaser, 16 team bracket reveal this weekend and Mizzou camp in at 16.

Spencer has your Valentine's edition of KKHI and his torn between his favorite show and cancelling Disney+.  Also, he has sort of worked for dad, sort of.  And the Royals are headed to Spencer's back yard.  Play ball!

It's all good news as conservatives are fighting back, peacefully, against Disney+ for firing a conservative actor from their favorite show.  We've got the inside scoop from a listener that tells us thousands and thousands of conservatives are cancelling.   A college in Indiana is changing it's mascot and name because they think people associate "Crusaders" with the KKK and not the Lutheran Church they represent.  Wow.  MU (4) and KU (5) seeds could meet each other in the NCAA tourney.  We ask the question if Mizzou fans really want that?
 

Chiefs assistant Britt Reid is no longer with the team after an auto accident that resulted in a 5 year old girl in a coma.  This podcast says what needs to be said.  Britt Reid should never have been hired as a coach here.  Britt Reid was never good at coaching.  This is an unfiltered take on what went wrong and why Andy Reid and the whole organization protected an employee they knew was at risk.  Also, the Royals acquire left fielder Andrew Benintendi and it looks like a sign the Royals think they are close to winning.

The Chiefs have placed Britt Reid on leave after his involvement in an accident that leaves 5 year old Ariel in a coma.  The team is supporting the family now, we discuss what's next.  What exactly did Mahomes and Brady talk about after the game, we'll let you know.  Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has dumped the national anthem, this can't be the right solution.  And KKHI hits a memorable milestone 5 months after episode one.
 

Marty Schottenheimer was tough, bold and fair.  Covering him on a daily basis was truly an honor and one of the most memorable things of my life.  One of only 8 coaches to win 200 games, Martyball lives on forever.  Even if you thought it was a negative term.  I'll explain.  Brady vs Badger continues and both have plenty of critics chiming in as we learn more about what happened.  Patrick Mahomes continues to have lady problems as his mom and fiance got really weird on social media.  The Dems are proving once again how petty and unserious there are with new fixations on Trump.  And the most absurd thing you'll hear this week.
