   Missouri and Kansas hit the road for the NCAA tournament and will play at roughly the same time on Thursday night.  Mizzou heads to Wichita to play Drake and they expect a big local flare crowd in that one.  KU heads east to face Arkansas in a pod filled with Hall of Fame coaches.  We break it down for you.

   The Royals are inside two weeks until the start of the season and if there's one thing other teams say about the Royals it's that they suddenly know how to acquire and coach good pitching.  They call it The Pitching Department and it's working.

   Prices are starting to come down and that's good news.  Will the markets start to buy in?
  Jackson County has no clue and no plan for the Royals and they are now stating that publicly.  What a mess.
  KU and KSU play the night session at the Big 12 Tourney on the worst court any conference has ever designed.  And the commish doubled down on his crappy court by making an outrageous demand for the NCAA Tourney.
  The Chiefs sign a cornerback from the Chargers, Tiger Woods is hurt again and a woman sues a Vegas hotel after her husband died there... you will not believe this story in our Final Final.
 

   Stan will be courtside for the games at the Big 12 Tourney in KC and has seen all the teams up close this season.  We talk about KU's chances of surprising people now that they are playing better and Hunter Dickinson has become unstoppable.
  Can Mizzou find its defense again?  The Tigers seem a little exhausted from playing in a brutal SEC and may just need some different opponents.  Also, there is a tournament in Vegas KSU can qualify for with a win or two.  It's March, we love hoops and we cover it all.
  Then Stan has much to say about all the Chiefs moves as they try to retool for 2025.
  Our Final Final is a crazy tradition a week before St. Patrick's Day.

   Many baseball insiders have picked the Royals to win their division and return to the playoffs.  And, KC may just have the best player in baseball in Bobby Witt Jr.

   It's official, Kevin and Jessica are really bad dog parents.  No, not in any real way, but the anguish we felt yesterday was a little like losing your toddler for two minutes at a department store.  It all involves a Royals spring training game.
   The Royals bats were alive on Wednesday night and reliever Lucas Erceg looks ready to go.
  Mizzou goes as Mizzou's defense goes and forcing only 4 turnovers in the first half at OU was a recipe for disaster.  We discuss the SEC powers and what it will take going forward for the conference to dominate the Big Dance.
   A pair of old colleagues of mine at channel 4 moved on to bigger and better things and are both involved in high profile lawsuits in KC.  One is a hero, the other seems to be a ridiculous target.
   ABC News lays off 200 staffers and closes 538.com.  What a huge win.  CNN tries to fact check Trump and winds up fact checking CNN instead and even the late night comedians are turning on the Dems.

   I'm not afraid to say it.
   President Trump delivered the greatest speech of my lifetime and its not even close.  After he declared America is Back to thunderous roars, he was funnier than any comedian ever as he mocked the stupidity of how our government spends money.  Then he told America the people on the left wouldn't clap for him if he cured cancer.  One Dem got booted for heckling and Trump rolled with it like a pro.  And he covered it all.
  They will say this was the most partisan speech ever and it may have been.  No, not for Republicans.  This was a partisan speech for America that played out as an infomercial for American strength and greatness.  Oh, we're back.  We are SO back.
  The dems were so pathetic they couldn't even clap for a 13 year old boy that beat brain cancer.  And then found out he's an honorary member of the Secret Service.  They just sat there mortified that Trump is this compassionate and caring and, well, American.  They really do hate America and it showed.
   Stephen A Smith of ESPN sets the ladies of The View straight.  Bill Belichick says NO to Hard Knocks, Westwood One names Dan Bongino's replacement and the exec that let the NBA leave TNT says it was one of the smartest decisions he ever made.
