    Bobby Witt Jr has been called the "Face of Baseball" by an opposing manager and now declared more valuable than Shohei Ohtani or any other player by an opponents announcer.  It's because we saw something Monday night we've never seen before... the greatest individual performance to close out the last two innings of a come from behind win.  Here's one to make your head explode: Is Bobby Baseball better at his sport than Patrick Mahomes?
   Jackson County has one politician living in Realville who says they need a proposal on the ballot to prep for losing both the Chiefs and Royals.  That's right, a financial preparation to take care of an empty sports complex.
    Kamala Harris is spending $50 million on an ad campaign even as almost all media are doing her work for her and social media are rigging the election.  Why not hold onto the money for awhile?

   It was pretty clear watching the Olympics opening ceremony that the people in charge of the games don't like you and don't care if you watch.  In the name of inclusivity, they are exposed as petty and hateful people trying to hurt you.  
   NBC Sports falls short with some bizarre primetime Sunday night programming with Mike Tirico and completely unfunny comedian John Mulaney that just confirmed for me that they don't care if we watch.
   The Royals lose two of three from the Cubs but are still in the playoffs as of today.  But there's something kind of scary lurking out there amongst Royals fans.  I'll tell you what it is.
   Harrison Butker made news around the Olympics but then Saturday got great news from his coaching staff.
   Kamala Harris attacks JD Vance as only being loyal to Trump and not to his country.  This is maybe the dumbest political I've ever heard a Dem make and Vance hit back ten times as hard with a million truth bombs.
  Google is suppressing searches about the Trump assassination attempt even as Trump says he plans to go back to Butler for another rally.

   It didn't take long for America to see the real Kamala Harris is fake.  From an awkward staged fake phone call with the Obamas to a stunt gone wrong visit to a record shop to buy black music, Kamala is at her worst when we see her.  Donald Trump is the total opposite as he has crushed it this week with dose after dose of "real" statements and actions.
   Tucker Carlson has passed Joe Rogan for the #1 podcast on Spotify as I'll share thoughts of how podcasting reminds me of a revolution in the 1990's.

   Joe Biden's Oval Office speech was totally political even though his staff said it wouldn't be.  Shocker.  Dr. Jill is on the Harris train and it's full speed ahead to save America so we can keep funding wars, spend trillions to change the weather and pack the Supreme Court.  Oh, it was quite a dud from the fat lipped slurry prez.
   Trump is now demanding equal time from tv networks and he's right.  It's worth hiring lawyers to fight.
   DC almost melted Wednesday with Israel's Bibi giving a rousing speech, protesters demolishing the street and the FBI director saying he's the only person in America that never saw decline in Biden.

   Joe Biden will address the nation tonight and is reportedly going to tell us what's ahead the next 6 months and how he will finish the job.  It's a little scary, but we gotta keep him in office until the election is over.
   Meanwhile, the Fake News are going silly over Kamala being the candidate and surely everyone can see this is made up.  It's so predictable.

   The Royals fall flat at the K as Alec Marsh is becoming a problem in the rotation.  Louis Rees-Zammit is a special teams Swiss Army knife and Tiger Woods' son has a terrible outing in a junior tourney.  Then we'll tell you why you may see a whole bunch of people on the Misssouri River this week.

   Through four innings Monday night, Bobby Witt Jr only needed a single to hit for the cycle.  So the Diamondbacks hit him with a pitch in the 6th.  It was a crazy night at the K surrounding the hottest player in the game.
   Kamala Harris seems to have completed the coup and has $100 million in a war chest for her campaign against Donald Trump.  By the way, do we even have a president these days?
   Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has a favorite new word and he's using it over and over while discussing stadium issues.

   It seems impossible five days after President Trump was shot the Democrats are somehow a bigger story than the Republican Convention.  But at least on Wednesday, they were.  Biden has Covid, Schiff wants him out, talking heads are breathing fire and Senators are chasing the Secret Service Director through the concourse of the arena looking for answers.  The aftermath has a nasty stench of censorship of information and Kamala's team is pushing for her to take over.  We cover it all.
   It was supposed to be JD Vance's night at the convention but Trump's oldest granddaughter, Mai, steals the show.
