The Royals just lost a homestand. Every game. All very similar as the bats are so silent you can hear yourself breath inside Kauffman Stadium. Is this the end of the 2025 season? Well, somehow they are still only 3 games back of a playoff spot so we think they'll be hanging on a few more weeks. But, man, its ugly.

Fewer than 200 people gathered in KC to protest ICE and it was a comical group. A whole bunch of white people with wrinkled clothes, ratty hair and bad signs complaining about the laws of our land is less than inspirational. And they went home way before dark. These are not ICE rallies, these are just the same people that don't like America or Donald Trump.
LA mayor Karen Bass implemented a curfew last night and it was ignored. Political rioters and looters took to the streets and LAPD says 197 people were arrested. And those who broke in to the Apple store had a rude awakening. Apple tracked those who stole products, turned the info over to authorities and disabled the devices. Hysterical. Steal shoes next time!

AFter years of inaction by everyone at every government level in Missouri, the state Senate saves the day at 2:30 am in a special session passing a bill that could keep the Royals and Chiefs in the Show Me state. It moves to the House where it is expected to pass easily and then the governor will sign. Now we will find out exactly what both teams want to do as they have sweet offers in both states.
Jackson County Legislator Manny Abarco is arrested and charged in Johnson County for domestic battery. This after he apparently took his two year old son from his mother who filed a missing persons report. Only in Jackson County.
