   Fun Friday returns as KKHI holds the promise of laughter and positivity throughout the episode.  Yes, there will be a story or two that's a bit serious but we'll keep those brief and work our way back into the fun zone.  
   We have lots of winning, too.  DeSantis beats Disney, the Royals somehow beat the Gaurdians and K-State baseball is two wins away from the college World Series.
   The NBA Finals see the Celtics take game one and Morgan Wallen makes our Final Final.  Hit that play button for some Friday fun!

  You've heard it a thousand times, the VP selection doesn't really matter.  This time it does, with both candidates and I'll explain why this is unprecedented.

   Kansas Republicans send a perfect letter to Chiefs owner Clark Hunt with an offer he can't refuse for a new stadium.  IF the bond issue passes during a special session June 18, it will be full speed ahead for the Chiefs to relocate to the Sunflower State with the best offer any NFL owner ever received.

   Joe Biden's state of mind is fading fast and now media outlets on the left are all over him.  It feels like the beginning of the end as Joe Biden has taken a day off.... in France.

   It's unreal how quickly the news cycle changes for President Trump.  Just a couple days after he's convicted of 34 felonies, it's his appearance at UFC, somebody else's trial and Fauci getting scorched on Cap Hill making all the headlines.  America seems to have already decided those felonies are a joke.
   The Royals are finally playing the Cleveland Guardians and we are about to find out if KC is a contender or not.  These three games will be tough as Cleveland just won 9 straight at home before losing Sunday.  We will break down the matchup.
   A listener shared an email with me about playing golf alone last week when a single from behind him joined in.  That solo player was Patrick Mahomes.

   If you felt like the entire season was on the line for the Royals Sunday, you weren't alone.  And when it looked most bleak it was a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 9th that delivered the biggest hit of the season.  This was NOT just another game.
  In college baseball, Kansas State goes 3-0 in the Arkansas regional to advance to the Super Regional this week.  Just 16 teams remain and if the Cats can win a series against Virginia, they will go to Omaha for the College World Series.
   The Big Slick folks crushed it raising $4 million this weekend.  Racism is all over the place in the WNBA in both actions and words.  A candidate for Missouri Secretary of State says the Chiefs are on board with her not supporting Pride month.  
   And a fan is pulled out of the gallery on the PGA tour to become part of the action.

   If you're asking how serious the guilty verdict is for Donald Trump just take a look at what happened after it was announced.  The reaction shines a light on how un-serious this trial was.
   A Democrat mega donor has had enough and is willing to lose friends over switching his money and support to Trump after this.
  The Chiefs OTA focus is new plays for the offense and a new style for special teams.

   Another Chiefs player (one you've never heard of) is in trouble and we don't like that it involves dog abuse.  But there is a huge overreaction taking place to the Chiefs off season news.

   KU Athletic Director Travis Goff gets a new contract.  Travis Kelce wants a contract to be in a golf movie.  Trump's jury is totally confused and a man doing a zoom appearance for a judge after his license was taking away does an unbelievably stupid thing.

   Two new studies show a mass migration from radio to podcasting and the biggest losers seem to be AM sports radio stations.  But these stations are doing absolutely nothing to help themselves as they've become stale, stat driven and safe.  In other words, the total opposite of online content. 
   We take a deep dive into sports talk as an announcer is fired after some hot mic comments were put out over the internet by 810 Varsity.  Toby Moore was just being real and that's a No-No with these folks.  I mean, you can literally lose your voice and stay on the air as long as you just keep saying a bunch of safe, liberal platitudes even though your audience is decidedly conservative.  It's just crazy. 
  Robert De Niro has a fun meltdown outside the Trump courtroom that was as real as real gets.  It's not reading movie lines off a script and this gangster failed miserably.

   Three games, three losses and three games where the Royals can't deliver in the clutch.  These 9th inning, almost won the game moments are piling up.
  Caitlin Clark pops for 30 in the WNBA but our Final Final is about another female pro athlete I've decided to follow on X for all the wrong reasons.  Except she's real. 

   The long holiday weekend was filled with gaffes from, you guessed it, the usual suspects.  From Biden and Harris memorializing George Floyd to squad members thinking it was Veterans Day, the hits just keep coming.
   Trump spent the weekend working for votes and gearing up for closing arguments in his trial in NYC.

   The Royals have three huge games left against the Twins this week and it feels like there is a lot on the line.
