There's a ton of college basketball to cover but as I listened to sports radio the past couple days, you'd think the season is over.  Then, it devolved into comments about coaches being fired over race.  Hit the play button and listen to me blow a hole in this audio madness.
K-State, formerly accused of media in KC as being an all white place that can't recruit black players, is in New York with its 6 black coaches and all black lineup of players.  And they seem to be the happiest team in the tourney featuring everyone's favorite new player.  Just don't call Markquis Nowell or Michigan State's star guard "little."
Sports betting flies through the House in Jefferson City.
China's Xi makes a profound statement after meeting with Putin that American voters had better listen to.  He's pretty sure we won't.
After closing his store on the Plaza, one owner says his employees were scared of all the customers coming in and stealing stuff.  A high school coach in Washington state is reinstated after winning a lawsuit about prayer and there's a new circus in town this year... without your favorite attraction.

Add a really poor choice for flooring to the list of problems at the new KCI.  Yep, people are tripping on the floors and it's scuffing up like crazy.... a nobody saw this coming.   Meanwhile, some people want us to to put a person's name on the airport.  Let's work out the bugs first.
Trump told everyone he was getting arrested Tuesday, now it looks like he set up the District Attorney to look unorganized and stupid.  At the same time, Ron DeSantis botched his comments about the situation and has riots and violence to deal with in Miami.  It's a good time to remember Trump is pretty good at this game.
The Biden admin says they won't allow a cease fire if China and Russia offer it in Ukraine.  This is just nuts.
Former Mizzou coach Mike Anderson has filed a lawsuit after getting fired by St. John's and I will explain why I'm 100 percent behind him
The Royals starting rotation is taking shape and it's a little surprising.  And the Seattle Mariners take golf buggies from their spring training ball park to a drive through burger joint.

After starting 0-13 from three against Kentucky, Kansas State finished with a flurry hitting 5 treys down the stretch.  Marquis Nowell is becoming a media darling after carrying his team to the Sweet 16 scoring 27 points.  This K-State basketball season is just gloriously shocking.
The Kansas Jayhawks did the most Un-Kansas thing ever Saturday falling to Arkansas and everyone knows why.  Without Bill Self, KU just isn't the same.  Now the questions begin... what's the coach's future and what's the future for this program?
After playing well for nearly a month, nobody saw the stunning flop by the Missouri Tigers coming.  Could they lose?  Well, sure, anyone can.  But not like this.
Donald Trump says he's being arrested this week in New York in one of the lowest moments in our country's history.  This is a new low and a complete embarrassment for our great land.
On this day in 1854, the Republican Party was founded to stop slavery.  We have a short history lesson for you.   And if you didn't notice, Andy Reid has hired another son to be on his coaching staff.

Kansas steamrolls Howard so all the analysis from game one of the tourney is Bill Self's interview with Greg Gurley and a disastrous appearance at the game by Howard alumn and (sort of) vice president Kamala Harris.
Mizzou was terrific against Utah State and catches a huge break facing Princeton instead of Arizona.
K-State got a good view of a couple upsets and should be ready to rip against Montana State.
Mayor Q says it could be 10 years before the Royals have a new ballpark and it's still possible that stadium is in Kansas.  He busted that out on www.petemundo.com radio show.
And DC comics announces the new Superman movie will be an homage to the great way of life in Smallville, Kansas with a script that sounds straight MAGA.

Liberals have a new game plan since they can't win the debate to get voters, they now say you cannot even have an opinion on anything.  This playbook is really risky after we've been so right so many times.
A song by a Christian artist called "Trump Won and you Know it" goes viral and it sure to make their heads explode.... I'll play it for you.
An MSNBC host says white people can't use the word "WOKE" as it's a dog whistle and the new N word.  Wait, what about white liberals?  Can they use it?
Former KC tv weather guy and my friend, Gary Lezak, is the most talked about meteorologist in America after he predicted a hurricane several months out.  He's about to cash in and make big money as the worlds only self proclaimed long range forecaster.
Kansas City Southern Railroad is getting bigger and a rebranding through a merger that will create jobs in KC and create the only rail line from Canada to Mexico.
And America has a new top dog as the Golden Retriever's 30 run is over.  We'll tell you what our country's favorite dog is this year.

KU coach Bill Self is in Des Moines and coached his team Wednesday morning but is still questionable for Thursday's game against Howard.
The Chiefs are finding money to buy free agents, it seems so easy.
And, several other topics as the world around us just gets more chaotic.

Grab your brackets, here we go!
Jalen Wilson makes AP All America First Team as KU gets ready to storm Des Moines.  K-State's had road issues and it looks like Kentucky is buying up all the tickets in Greensboro and Mizzou will focus it's perimeter defense on the number 5 three point shooter in the land.
Then Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com gives us a couple free selections in the first round and offers up some tasty bracket busters.  It's March... you'd be mad not to hit play.

Inflation, recession and bank collapses are just another by product of the Dems printing money they don't have for things we don't need.  What a mess.
A big thinker from www.dailycaller.com has a great idea to fix all our federal government problems and I can't wait to share it with you.
Donald Trump is in Iowa just blasting away at Mitch McConnell while going a little softer on Ron DeSantis.  Trump has a new way to campaign against the Florida governor that's a better idea than name calling.
Southwest Airlines has turmoil everywhere but they're developing a new idea for boarding and getting off their airplanes that could save a lot of time.  It's nothing you'd ever think of and it may just work.
And the Chiefs sign a tackle to protect Patrick Mahomes right at the start of free agency.  Now we know what their plan was all along.

You've got your bracket and you're ready to go but don't forget the eraser.  This tournament shapes up with a field consisting of so many teams that could win a couple games and move on.  We break it down for KU, KSU and MU.
Then, Bill Self says he's feeling good and ready to coach after five days in the hospital and two stents placed in arteries around his heart.   We have more questions than answers at this point about what really happened.
As Texas was beating the Jayhawks Saturday in KC,  it wasn't as surprising as Mayor Q losing a photo op.  He's the king of these things at parades, airports or by a fountain.  But squeezing in sitting next to Shaquille O'Neal was really awkward as the cop supporting, tough on crime former NBA player didn't appear to be interested in speaking to the Mayor at all.
Salvy left Royals camp to play for Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic and he's working his way toward winning the MVP.  Salvy's team is leading the pool of death after the slugger goes 4-4 in a rout over Puerto Rico.
And the Oscars had a chance this year to catch and hold some people with hugely popular movies like Top Gun and Avatar earning a ton of nominations.  But they blew it.  A movie nobody has seen that we don't know what is about won all the Oscars.  Snooze.

KU says media reports are wrong, Bill Self did not have a heart attack and the coach says he's ready to get back with his team "in the near future."   That's great news and so is the defense Kansas played to open the Big 12 Tourney.
K-State is on the struggle bus at 6-7 in their last 13 games.  All 13 games have one big, important trait in common and determine each night whether the Cats win or lose.
Can you believe the Senate and House both unanimously passed a bill to declassify all the government Covid information?
Rush Limbaugh's Florida estate sets a sales record.
And a previously cancelled country music star sets streaming records and breaks the internet with a new album.
