It was a fun week doing some interviews elsewhere but a pair of them stood out and thought you might like to hear them.
First, it's really fun sports talk with Scott Kaplan and Crew in Southern California. I've known Scott for over 20 years and he always brings up interesting topics. topics like sports owners in California failing after their daddy left them a team. Quite a contrast to KC. And, if you'd like... I will give you the info on how to see this interview on You Tube.
Then Pete Mundo from KCMO Talk Radio asked me to join him to discus the possibility of a new downtown ballpark for the Royals. Pete's always on point.

Nancy Pelosi announced she's resigning from leadership but let's be certain about one thing, she isn't going away. There will be interviews, documentaries and behind the scenes control she won't be able to relinquish. They'll talk about greatness, but her legacy is she's leaving behind a calamity on the American public.
The Chiefs have a huge game against the Chargers that everyone expects KC to just go win. But the Chargers receivers will have something to say about this as Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are ready to use their advantage on the KC defense. I expect this to be a really hard game.
K-State fans are rooting like crazy for KU this week, Mizzou has a shot in the arm game in the non-con and Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com has his college football underdog of the year this week.

It's so frustrating with all the information available to Americans that the left continues to control the narratives by reporting lies for 24 hours before quietly correcting stories. And all anyone believes is what they heard first.
Now it's happening in KC with the Royals wanting a new $2 billion ballpark that is all sunshine and unicorns. www.tonyskansascity.com has a lead story today about where the park will be located and what it will do to a longstanding, proud community.
The Leawood Police have gone viral in a great way after body cam footage shows a group of officers saving a woman from underneath her burning car.
And while the Chiefs can't lose the AFC West Sunday night against the Chargers, it's pretty obvious they can win the division. We'll break it down for you.

3 Big Things: Trump is In, KU Self-Like w/out Coach, Royals Want $2 Billion Stadium
Wednesday Nov 16, 2022
Wednesday Nov 16, 2022
We pride ourselves in featuring a large number of issues on the podcast but this time we focus on Three Big Things.
Trump is running after a low key, presidential speech. KU looks like KU without head coach Bill Self. And Royals owner John Sherman wants at least $2 billion for a new ballpark.
We also manage to sneak in just a couple words on Mizzou busting out 105 points and K-State settling on Will Howard as their starting quarterback.

The midterm blame game is full on between Republicans everywhere, even as they take over the House of Representatives. But it's pretty obvious what needs to happen as we now allow elections "months" and weeks after to gather more votes. Conservatives have to embrace the lunacy of the system and join the fray.
The Chiefs special teams have been especially bad this year but now is not the time to fire Dave Toub.
KU and Duke are set to meet in the Champions Classic without Bill Self and Coach K. This will be fun... but a little odd.
The UK has listed a whole bunch of funny laws in Qatar for fans traveling to the world cup... you have to hear what can get you in jail there.
And Niners QB Jimmy Garapolo is quite the hit with the ladies at an NBA game.

It's the Football Feast and Stan Weber joins us to talk about the Chiefs fairly easy win over the Jags and taking over the top spot in a crowded AFC.
Then, we talk K-State football as the Wildcats once again control their own destiny to make the title game in Dallas. Has Will Howard finally taken over the starting QB job?
The Kansas Jayhawks and Missouri Tigers each did some nice things Saturday but stopping or even slowing the opponent's offense wasn't one of them. Could they be bowl bound to face each other in the post season?

Kevin joins Spencer for the weekend episode. K-State has their guy at QB moving forward, and coach Chris Klieman knows it. KU out-gained Texas Tech and lost by 15, that one was a head-scratcher. Missouri was clearly out-matched against Tennessee, and their defense regressed, can the Tigers still make a bowl game? All that and more!

The countless counting in several states, not just Nevada and Arizona is just mind boggling. I can't take it any more as we have to be a little worried something nefarious is going on here.
We know about the 6 million vote lead for the GOP and we're learning more about where it came from. Republicans made huge gains, again, with young black and Hispanic voters. You'll like these numbers.
The Chiefs are at home but Mizzou, KU and KSU are all on the road... we'll preview the games.
Then, Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com gives us his thoughts on a slew of point spreads this weekend.

It may not make you feel completely better but this was a complete and utter beatdown by the GOP nationwide as Republicans got over 6 million more votes than Dems. In voting for the House, the GOP leads 52.3% to 46.2% nationwide. That's a beatdown almost as big as the historic 2010 Tea party movement.
KKHI has conducted the first Trump vs. DeSantis primary straw poll in our area, non scientific of course. It happened at our patrons party Wednesday night and you may be shocked by what happened.
Saturday Night Live is going to get a huge ratings boost as Dave Chappelle hosts this week. But some writers on the show have walked off because a free speech believing black man is hosting and that's just too much for these white liberals.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid faces former assistant Doug Pederson and the Jaguars Sunday at Arrowhead. Andy has had 10 assistants become head coaches and his record against them is insane.
A KC area high school basketball star that went to Mizzou, became a fan favorite and later became a coach is involved in one of the saddest tragedies ever as he kills his wife and then himself.
And former KU Jacque Vaughn is rewarded for excellent work, loyalty and persistence to become the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.

Red Trickle Still Wins, MO Greatness, Schmidt Biggest Loser, Senate Cliffhanger
Wednesday Nov 09, 2022
Wednesday Nov 09, 2022
Before you start feeling a gloomy, remember, winning the House is winning the House. And while there was certainly no red wave, there was a voter shift by people that aren't happy with what's going on. We'll take it.
The state of Missouri, like Florida, was a statewide sweep and beatdown by the GOP. God bless Missourians!
The biggest loser in all this is not Amanda Adkins in District 3 of Kansas, it's now obvious that seat is gone forever. Johnson County has swung left and bad things are coming.... take it to the bank. No, the biggest loser was Derek Schmidt who lost by just a few thousand votes after completely ignoring campaigning in the KC area. It was a horrible strategy that still would have worked if not for two other also rans on the ballot that got over 30,000 votes.
The Senate hangs in the balance but still looks like it's going GOP... hang on tight.
