   KU coach Bill Self is in Des Moines and coached his team Wednesday morning but is still questionable for Thursday's game against Howard.
   The Chiefs are finding money to buy free agents, it seems so easy.
   And, several other topics as the world around us just gets more chaotic.

   Jalen Wilson makes AP All America First Team as KU gets ready to storm Des Moines.  K-State's had road issues and it looks like Kentucky is buying up all the tickets in Greensboro and Mizzou will focus it's perimeter defense on the number 5 three point shooter in the land.

   Inflation, recession and bank collapses are just another by product of the Dems printing money they don't have for things we don't need.  What a mess.

   Donald Trump is in Iowa just blasting away at Mitch McConnell while going a little softer on Ron DeSantis.  Trump has a new way to campaign against the Florida governor that's a better idea than name calling.
   Southwest Airlines has turmoil everywhere but they're developing a new idea for boarding and getting off their airplanes that could save a lot of time.  It's nothing you'd ever think of and it may just work.
   And the Chiefs sign a tackle to protect Patrick Mahomes right at the start of free agency.  Now we know what their plan was all along. 

   You've got your bracket and you're ready to go but don't forget the eraser.  This tournament shapes up with a field consisting of so many teams that could win a couple games and move on.  We break it down for KU, KSU and MU.
  Then, Bill Self says he's feeling good and ready to coach after five days in the hospital and two stents placed in arteries around his heart.   We have more questions than answers at this point about what really happened.
   As Texas was beating the Jayhawks Saturday in KC,  it wasn't as surprising as Mayor Q losing a photo op.  He's the king of these things at parades, airports or by a fountain.  But squeezing in sitting next to Shaquille O'Neal was really awkward as the cop supporting, tough on crime former NBA player didn't appear to be interested in speaking to the Mayor at all. 
  Salvy left Royals camp to play for Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic and he's working his way toward winning the MVP.  Salvy's team is leading the pool of death after the slugger goes 4-4 in a rout over Puerto Rico.
   And the Oscars had a chance this year to catch and hold some people with hugely popular movies like Top Gun and Avatar earning a ton of nominations.  But they blew it.  A movie nobody has seen that we don't know what is about won all the Oscars.  Snooze. 

   KU says media reports are wrong, Bill Self did not have a heart attack and the coach says he's ready to get back with his team "in the near future."   That's great news and so is the defense Kansas played to open the Big 12 Tourney.
   K-State is on the struggle bus at 6-7 in their last 13 games.  All 13 games have one big, important trait in common and determine each night whether the Cats win or lose.
   Can you believe the Senate and House both unanimously passed a bill to declassify all the government Covid information?  
  Rush Limbaugh's Florida estate sets a sales record.
   And a previously cancelled country music star sets streaming records and breaks the internet with a new album.

   Multiple media outlets report Kansas Head Coach Bill Self suffered a heart attack in Kansas City at the Big 12 Tournament.
  The University has issued a release that states Self is at the University of Kansas Hospital for an "illness" and will not coach KU in at least their first game.
  We talk with www.dannyclinkscale.com about this huge news story and two other Big 12 coaches making massive headlines after being accused or poor treatment by one of their own players.  

   One white  Big 12 coach is out, another is embroiled in controversy before he plays his first game of the tourney.  What's going on here?  It's all about race... are these guys both flaming bigots or is there more to it?
   Kansas announces more improvements to Allen Field House but it's hard to see how this will improve revenue.  New lighting in concourses, more chairbacks, another new scoreboard and sound system are all nice... but is KU delaying the inevitable in their need for a new building?  We go over the pros and cons.
   Tucker Carlson should send Chuck Schumer a box of steaks for promoting Carlson's Fox News program Tuesday night.  You won't believe these ratings and what the Dems did for Carlson's numbers.
   If you wondering why Ron DeSantis hasn't hinted or announced he's running for president, we have the reason why.  He's got a state law in Florida standing in his way... for now.
   And Tiger Woods has yet another problem with a woman as his girlfriend the past 6 years has filed a lawsuit against him. 

   We've been trying to find a way to communicate the differences in style between Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump and it finally dawned on me this week after the Florida Governor sent a letter to President Biden.  The letter says it all.
   Two of the four American shot by a drug cartel in Mexico near Brownville, Texas are dead.  Two others have been rescued and transported back into Texas.  This story scares the hell out of Americans and is a huge issue for the White House.  It's time to get serious.
   A local community is using millions in federal covid funds to build tiny houses for homeless people.  We will tell you where, when and how many.
    The Royals have a new slogan as they swing for the fences for a new downtown ballpark.  The Chiefs are parting ways with two studs in their 20's over cap issues and Charles Barkley jumps all over a former NBA player and  commentator on ESPN for race baiting.

   Tucker Carlson released all kinds of new footage from the capitol riot on January 6 and it shows a completely different story than the show trial select committee portrayed.  So why isn't Fox News airing much about this story other than Carlson?
   Four Americans in Mexico could be dead after they drove across the Texas border into a cartel controlled town and got shot up.  What the hell is going on in Mexico and when are we going to stop it?
   A Royals starting pitcher has developed a new pitch that a scout for another team says "will change his career" if he can throw it for a strike.  
   NBC says it pulled a Travis Kelce/Creed Humphrey pre recorded skit from SNL because of time contraints.  But many people think it was pulled for political reasons.
   And a 103 year old woman you have likely heard of has written a book... you gotta hear this story.

   For over a year, people on the left have been trying to cancel comedy that's honest, real and funny and only allow comedy approved by liberals.  It's never been more apparent than the ridiculous amount of leftist filth on Saturday Night Live where Travis Kelce more than held his own and a Netflix special from Chris Rock that broke all the rules and relentlessly attacked a pair of black women.
   Missouri had a great weekend in basketball as they beat Ole Miss and get the double bye with a four seed in the SEC tourney.  What happens, however,  when they start playing,  is a gauntlet.  KU and KSU both stunk it up on the road and hope for some home momentum in KC this week.
   The Royals have added three new members to their broadcast team this year.  Three more white guys.  How are they getting away with 9 announcers and they are all white guys?
   As 10 Royals are leaving for a couple weeks for the World Baseball Classic, they are all buzzing about new manager Matt Quatraro and the simple message to pitchers from the pitching coach.
