Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

   As we begin year three of the podcast, we have a lot of people to thank and a special announcement on something new for all of us.
   Then,  we take a deep dive into the firing of Royals GM Dayton Moore and the future of the franchise as only Ryan Lefebvre can deliver.  

   It was a crazy weekend of football culminating with a complete train wreck by the Chiefs at Indy.  Let's count the ways KC handed this win to the Colts.
   Kansas State is sending Oklahoma out of this conference with some real butt whippings... this is getting routine for Chris Klieman's Cats.  Stan Weber joins us to touch on all the college games.
   KU has a star quarterback on their hands as Jalon Daniels is the best player in America nobody's heard of yet.  What a show he put on as KU beats Duke to go 4-0.
   And you can't write the scripts for some Mizzou football and basketball game endings... Saturday at Auburn joins the list of all timers. 
 

The Chiefs are coming off a mini-bye and look to take care of the Colts in Indy. The Colts hopes that bringing in an aging veteran QB Matt Ryan would lead to more wins. So far that's a bust. The Colts have looked terrible and the Chiefs are rolling. K-State needs a QB. Plain and simple! KU is expecting a huge crowd with the hawks being 3-0 and they have a 3-0 Duke team coming in. Missouri needs to beat Auburn if they want to go to a bowl game. Riley Gates joins!

   Lockdown Laura Kelly has really blown it with a new tv spot she's defending... or should we say backtracking from.  She met with the Star editorial board and stepped in another steamy pile as she says the NCAA has a system in place and she defers to them.  Oh, brother. 
   Did anyone else notice President Trump wearing an ear piece in his interview with Sean Hannity?  Why?  It wasn't live and Hannity wasn't wearing one.  
   A new poll asked Americans if they feel safer today or when Trump was president.  The results are just shocking.
   There's one key to the Chiefs beating the Colts Sunday, or should we say one key to beating them easily.  We'll give you the key matchup.

   Dayton Moore's tenure with the Royals came to an end after 16 years and it ended in a strange way.  Owner John Sherman wanted everyone to know he fired Dayton, but Dayton stole the day with a gracious news conference and goodbye.  Dayton's first hire back in 2006, JJ Picollo, now takes his job.  This is more than unusual as we look back at Dayton's time and history making World Series win.
   The Goodyear Blimp has been flying around KU's football stadium and they took to Twitter to explain why.  It's not what you think but it's absolutely fabulous.
   Kansas governor Lockdown Laura Kelly is firmly on the defensive over her double veto  of the Protect Women's Sports act.  But while she's trying to save independents from fleeing, she's really ticking of the LGBTQ+ community.  Wow, did she step in it this time.
   And the most accurate pollster in America the past 6 years says this is the hardest polling environment yet for what he says are "submerged voters."   I think I'm one of these people, you may be too.  Wait until you hear who these people are and why most polls are showing 12% undecided.
   

   One sentence from Vladimir Putin and the media couldn't wait to pivot away from the economy and border security.  If they had their way, they'd talk about nothing but war and covid the next 48 days before the election.
   Sunny Hostin is a co-host on The View and she had the all time most embarrassing gaffe in the history of the show and that's saying something.
   Patrick Mahomes is tied as the most likeable player in the NFL according to a new poll.  We'll tell you who he's tied with.
   Travis Kelce getting body slammed didn't make much news after the Chargers game and it seems that's just the way the Chiefs like it.

   Since there is a presidential leadership vacuum in America, Ron DeSantis is doing something right now not many people are noticing.  He's acting Presidential and driving the narrative in the media instead of playing defense like so many other Republicans.
   In Missouri, it's about to be a complete state wide sweep for the GOP.  Eric Schmitt has a whopping lead and if the Republican wins state auditor, every single state wide office in the Show Me state will be held by a Republican.
   KCI officials released  a restaurant map of the new terminal that's on schedule to open in March.  We'll let you decide if this all sounds right to Kansas Citians.
   Chiefs linebacker  Willie Gay gets a four game suspension from the NFL for a misdemeanor charge of beating up a vacuum cleaner?  That's what it looks like.  Here's where Overland Park and the NFL are doing wrong by citizens in KC.
  And the Royals are now a whopping 31 games under .500 and the pressure is on owner John Sherman to clean house.
 

   Watching Joe Biden sit down with 60 Minutes for an interview put me on he edge of my seat as I felt he was going to say something so stupid it would lead to war.  He absolutely committed our military to a war in Taiwan if the Chinese advance.  This man is frightening.
   Florida Governor Ron DeSantis riled up a sold out conference center in Olathe while stumping for Kansas candidate for governor Derek Schmidt.  Conservatives love what this governor has done for his state.
   Kansas State's promising season crashed into a wall Saturday as quarterback Adrian Martinez lost his 30th game in college.  30!  Question answered... he's not a one year solution, it's time to move on.
   Jalon Daniels is just the opposite for KU as the Hawks fell behind 14-0 before Daniels went off for 5 touchdowns.  KU looks like a bowl team.
  We break down Mizzou's win over Abilene Christian and Tyreek Hill has an epic day for the Dolphins.

   Somehow, someway, the Chiefs beat the Chargers in a game LA had under control while playing better than KC.  Stats don't matter, plays do.  And the Chiefs made the biggest play of the night as Justin Herbert went all Phillip Rivers and tossed a 99 yard pick 6 to rookie Jalen Watson.
