Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

Spencer Kietzman is back for the weekend edition of KKHI. It wasn't that long ago we were asking the question if the Chiefs would even make the playoffs. Now, the one seed and first round bye is in play for KC. K-State has a stand-alone bowl game right before the College Football National Championship game, and MU's Tyler Badie earns unanimous All-SEC honors. Riley Gates of 24/7 Sports joins. 

   Enes Kanter's escape to freedom has been known for awhile but it is just now registering with people how dangerous his journey has been.  The Boston Celtics star is now America's biggest critic of China and real oppression and social injustice around the world.  As we watch Jussie Smollett convicted of faking hate crimes in an America that is as close to perfect as it gets on this planet, Kanter reminds us there is big trouble outside our borders. 
   Patrick Mahomes is no longer an elite quarterback and somebody had to say it.  He can regain it and it could be spectacular, but right now, he looks like the sloppy college quarterback 11 teams passed on.  It's unthinkable he is the 18th rated passer this year among starters in the NFL.  We preview the Chiefs and Raiders and two struggling quarterbacks.

   One has to feel bad that Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas has worked  hard to climb the ladder in DC and become well known for future elections, only to get disrespected.  So you'll have to excuse me if I feel a little sorry for this hard working opportunist when the President forgot his name during a bumbling speech about nothing in KC on Wednesday.
   Some incredible new polling has been released that shows Hispanic voters are now evenly split between Republicans and Democrats.  While another poll shows college students that are Democrats are nearly 8 times more biased than their fellow students that are Republicans.
   And even liberal Bob Costas is piling on the NBA for it's hypocrisy supporting the America sucks crowd and it's silence on China.
 

   It may not be a great game Saturday at Allen Field House but the listening to KU and MU fans climb all over each other this week is a blast.  I've got an email from a Mizzou fan... and a suggestion... that is off the charts fantastic.
   The "female" swimmer at Penn wins an event by 38 seconds because she's a biological male.  This is the worst discrimination against women in America that I've ever seen.

   A new tv series is coming to Paramount Plus called "Kansas City" and you won't believe who it stars.  It's going to be a massive hit.

    A listener has tipped me off that the new KCI is going to be the "most inclusive airport in the world" according to developers.  That means giant 'all gender' restrooms are going to be featured prominently, where ladies can sit right next to drunk uncle Frank doing his business.  Such progress.
   Joe Biden has a high stakes conference call with Vladimir Putin Tuesday, so we ask the obvious question.  Who's handling that call for the United States?

   The College Football Playoff is shaping up to be four teams not named Ohio State, Clemson or Alabama and that makes this really fun.
   The Chiefs activate veteran lineman Kyle Long and it's more than a roster move.  It signals the Chiefs are flipping a switch as the calendar switches to December.
