Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

   The media spin on the US taking down the Chinese spy balloon is absolutely amazing as somehow this story is about Donald Trump.  These people have a problem.
   More and more stories are being written about the mistakes we made during Covid.  Science is asking for forgiveness... why can't politicians do the same?
   We had another near jet crash at an airport this weekend... this time in Austin and this was really scary.
  The Chiefs are on the ground in Phoenix to start Super Bowl preparations there.  We have the latest.
  Aaron Rodgers won the Pro-Am tournament at Pebble Beach this weekend where he openly talked about all the love he's getting from the Raiders.
   And KU scored a record low point total for a Bill Self team Saturday, now they host first place Texas Monday night.
 

   Joe Biden wants us to believe he told the Pentagon days ago to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon and then just forgot about it like he put out the trash.  This is a lie.  They botched this not taking it down over the Pacific or Montana and doing after the Chinese mission was over is a complete boondoggle. 
  What a rotten day of college hoops Saturday as KU gets pounded, Mizzou is lifeless and K-State Blows a big lead.  What a hot mess.
 

   So we have a Chinese spy balloon floating over Montana.  We can analyze all day whether this is even important, let alone a threat.  But just like the Iranians when they took hostages on Jimmy Carter's watch, it's clear the whole world is spitting in Joe Biden's face, unafraid of this feckless president.
   Republicans in Kansas want to give land and historical buildings back to the Shawnee Tribe.  Liberals in Fairway, KS are beside themselves and hate the idea.  Wait, what?  Yes, it's true... you gotta hear the way libs are all about inclusion and diversity until its in their backyard.
   A 6 year old boy just slays Grubhub from his parents' I-phone, this story is an all timer.
   Travis Kelce, on his podcast, talked about what Andy told him after his nearly botched lateral Sunday.  Then Kelce says he thinks it cost KC four more points.  This is interesting.
   Phil Mickelson is trolling the PGA Tour as the LIV golf tour is getting more big names, this is an epic tweet.  And we preview college basketball Saturday.

   A hate filled column by Dion Lefler of the Star is a shining example of why the left is not really in favor of "inclusion" in America.  Lefler unloads on conservative parents who want school choice by saying these parents believe "slaves were happy" and "LGBTQ people don't exist."  You see, for the left, inclusion means inclusion only for people that vote for Democrats.  Excluding and hating conservatives is fair game and thriving in media.
   The Missouri Tigers shouted "look at us" in a win over LSU, Mizzou's third straight win.  Senior Kobe Brown had one of the greatest college basketball stat lines I've ever seen.
   The first injury reports are out for the Super Bowl and the Chiefs have a giant lead with 10 players listed.  I'll sort through which injuries are a problem and which are not.
   And as the Royals listening tour continues, you have to wonder how much people care.  The Royals owner appeared in front of all kinds of empty seats at his most recent event and that has to be a terrible sign for him.

   It's almost impossible to believe so many big names could be making so much big news in one week, but it's on.  Tom Brady is retiring, Travis Kelce is cheering, Steph Curry is outed as fraud, Bill Self is coaching his butt off, Joe Manchin is basically flipping parties, Joe Biden is being Joe Biden and Donald Trump promotes a policy no other candidate running will agree with.
   It's all here on one big, star studded episode.

   While the whole country is wasting their time talking about Ron Torbert and his officiating team Sunday, I saw something else.  Yes, there were dramatic calls and dramatic plays but the Chiefs did two specific things in the game that kept it from being an easy win.  This team has two weeks to learn how to deliver the kill shot.
   Patrick Mahomes feels like an underdog as the Eagles are favored in the Super Bowl.  It's a ridiculous thing to even put in the same sentence.  Patrick Mahomes and underdog go together like Joe Biden and genius.
   I've got a couple stories to share from our weekend at Pebble Beach Golf Club in California... including where I got goosebumps just walking.  Also, I replicated Tom Watson's famous shot on 17 in the1982 US Open and took a photo of the monument in the ground where his ball was.

   It can't make Andy Reid very happy but Travis Kelce has pretty much spilled the beans this week on his podcast and gave us all a peek inside the meeting rooms at Arrowhead.
   On the same podcast, Kelce called himself "an idiot" for tossing a football into the stands against the Jags last week. This is a good story, you'll want to hear why.
   As more video shows Patrick Mahomes practicing Thursday, the Chiefs are favored to win again.  The Vegas line moved 5.5 points away from KC and has now gone 3.5 points back as the home team is now a one point fave.  Crazy.

   Patrick Mahomes is a full participant at practice as this ankle story takes a turn for the better.  We have to ask.  Is it possible the severity of this injury was overblown?
   And you gotta hear the Royals' latest pitch for $1billion... they say Kauffman Stadium has cancer.  This is not a joke.
