   No more Jets please.  Seriously, let's not have the Chiefs play against that defense again this year even though they scored early and hung on to win 23-20.  This was a great win and we're not joking here.  These rock fights out of division on the road have been a real problem for KC but they found a way to win this one even with a poor passing game.  
   The paparazzi are having a ball with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, now known as "Traylor", and Kelce is more than happy to feed it as he was photographed leaving Taylor's apartment 9 hours before kickoff wearing a profane tee shirt.  
   The Buffalo Bills served up an extra large portion of humble pie on the Miami Dolphins and make a statement in the AFC.
   Mizzou rolls Vandy on a record day for Brady Cook and now the table is set for a wild, wild scene in Columbia this week as LSU comes calling.  This is turning into something that feels special.
  The Royals lose 106 games but Bobby Witt joined the 30/30 club and Zack Greinke got a rousing ovation as he walked off the mound for perhaps the final time.
   The United States Ryder Cup team is a joke and I'm done watching if the Americans don't start taking this seriously and the Attorney General of the United States breaks down and cries on 60 Minutes. What the heck?

  If you missed it this week, we learned that Evergy says they will have to keep a coal plant open they wanted to convert to natural gas.  It's in the most liberal city in Kansas to create power to make electric vehicle batteries in Desoto.  What?  Oh, and your tax dollars for "inflation reduction" will pay for all of it. 
  In Wyoming, the feds gave $1.1 million last year for electric buses that are now toast in one of the greatest places to visit on earth.  Good luck getting up the slopes this winter.

   House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has informed a whole bunch of reporters that don't want to listen that they now have records of a $250,000 payment from a Chinese national to Joe Biden's home address in Delaware when he was VP.  It's falling apart for Sleepy as he can't even control his own crazy dog.
   The Kansas Teacher of the Year works at a middle school just blocks from my house and I'm certain he's dedicated and hard working and really wants to teach kids.  But what he wants to teach them is the reason he was selected for the award.
   A female journalist at Daily Caller has written a wonderful piece about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce and how it cannot work because the pop star is a radical feminist.  She makes all the sense in the world.

   If they gave journalism awards for inconsistency, the Kansas City Star would have the biggest trophy case in America.  The paper that called for me to be fired because I said Andy Reid's convicted felon sons were bad hires as football coaches is keeping a race baiting reporter that got facts wrong with a story and tried to pick a fight with an employee at a company he was trashing.  Of course, they didn't believe Toriano Porter was a wild liberal agitator until a video of him surface being "completely unprofessional" according to his bosses.  He broke at least three statutes in the employee handbook.... but they will welcome him back!   I smell a Pulitzer.
   Travis Kelce must really have  a crush on Taylor Swift as he arranged for Prime Social Rooftop to kick everyone out at 8:00 Sunday night so he could throw a private party that lasted until 2:00 am.  There's a lot to hate about Taylor Swift's whiny, complaining songs and her politics, but this is kind of fun being the cool city. 
   Joe Biden steps in it again botching LL Cool J's name and then referring to him as "boy."  Oh, boy.
   Fox News immediately cuts away from a Donald Trump speech the second he mentioned a name they won't allow to be mentioned on their channel, the White House continues to fret about a third party candidate and with shiny recruiting classes, the upcoming hoops season is shaping up to be a great one in the midwest.

   The Chiefs made swift work of the Chicago Bears with the world's most popular singer watching from Travis Kelce's suite.  We'll all remember this as the Taylor Swift game as the happy couple rolled out of Arrowhead in a hot rod convertible.  But there's a lot of football to digest from this one with a defense that could be dominant and a rookie wide receiver emerging as the top target.

   As the House investigates the failures of security from January 6 it is learned that an FBI Field Officer from Kansas City was dressed as a Trump supporter and apparently leading demonstrators into the Capital.
   When the GOP holds its debate next week, Donald Trump will be giving a speech to the United Auto Workers in Detroit.  You think the other candidates are getting played?  Well, wait until you hear what a couple of the Biden people are saying off the record about this move.
   The Chiefs set an NFL record with their win on Sunday and it's a doozy.  Patrick Mahomes tells Carrington Harrison of 610 Sports Radio he wants to punt in a game and the Royals still have a giant financing hole in their plan for a new ballpark. 

   I was going to downplay the fact that Oak Park High School crowned a boy the Homecoming Queen this weekend because it just seemed too easy.  But now as the story has reached national outlets, those folks have done some digging and learned something even more shocking.
   Losing an $83 million fighter jet is a drop in the bucket for the cash the Dems are burning through.  Their biggest concern now?  Target conservatives with advertising to sway us to keep supporting money for Ukraine.  What a scam... Oh, and it's racist to boot.
